A regenerative agriculture training and research site rooted in smallholder solutions.
GREENLINE ACRES
Healthy Soil. Practical Tools. Proven Systems.
Who we Are
Greenline Acres is a 10-acre regenerative agriculture training and research site in Malawi.
At our core is this land-based center- where we learn, experiment, and refine regenerative systems tailored to smallholder farmers.
Our demonstration site serves as a living laboratory- enabling us to test, adapt, and showcase practical solutions.
Beyond the site, Greenline Acres also extends its impact through consulting, resource development, and partnerships- always grounded in evidence and real-world results.
We exist to equip development professionals, NGOs, and agribusinesses across Africa with the tools and knowledge they need to help smallholders adopt regenerative practices that restore soil health, increase yields, and foster human thriving-
Healthy soil for healthy people.

Vision and Mission
OUR VISION
To make regenerative agriculture a practical and preferred strategy for smallholder farmers across Africa- led by local communities, supported by partners, and grounded in systems that build healthy soils to nourish healthy lives.
OUR MISSION
To experiment, train, develop, and openly share regenerative agriculture systems that are practical, accessible, and transformative for smallholder farmers.
We design systems in partnership with farmers, tailored to real-world smallholder contexts and diverse agroecologies. Our work begins with listening and adapts to local needs.
Farmer-Centered
We rigorously test and document our systems. Everything we recommend is rooted in on-the-ground results and continuous learning.
Evidence-Driven
Low-Cost & Scalable
We focus on regenerative practices that are affordable, accessible, and easy to scale- ensuring smallholders can implement and replicate them without relying on external inputs.
We freely share our methods, tools, and findings. Our partnerships are built on transparency, mutual support, and a shared vision for farmer-led transformation.
Open-Handed Collaboration
Strategic Pillars
-
Capacity Building
We train NGO staff, agribusiness teams, and local leaders through hands-on workshops. Our tiered training model supports both broad learning and deeper technical capacity.
-
Farmer-Informed Research
We trial green manure, agroforestry, intercropping, and more- right on the farm. Our findings are tested in real-world conditions, and we share both what works and what doesn’t.
-
Demonstration & Innovation Site
Greenline Acres is a working farm and living classroom. Visitors experience regenerative systems in action- from alley cropping to composting and low-cost irrigation.
-
Tools for Scale
We design photo-based manuals, training guides, and field-ready curricula. Everything is made for oral learning and easy translation, so that regenerative practices can reach more farmers.

How We Work
Regeneration is not just about the soil-
it's about restoring dignity, resilience, and opportunity for farming communities.
We combine participatory design, rigorous experimentation, and practical field realities.
Our process is rooted in collaboration—from co-creating trials to adapting solutions that truly fit.
Collaborative Design
We partner with organizations to align regenerative solutions with their goals, context, and communities.Trial & Learn
We experiment with systems directly on the land—adapting in real time and sharing both successes and failures.Practical Implementation
Every system we share is grounded in what’s actually working for smallholders in the field.Open Knowledge
We publish and share everything we learn to support wider adoption across Africa.
“We don’t just teach regenerative agriculture. We test it, live it, and share what truly works-openly.”
Work With Us to Expand Regeneration Across Africa
Greenline Acres partners with NGOs, development agencies, and agribusinesses to bring regenerative systems to scale. Whether you're seeking practical training, field research, or contextualized design-
let’s build soil solutions together.
